The 7th Edition of the Ghana Beauty Awards (GBA) which is expected to take place on November 12, 2023 at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra, has been described by the organisers as a Night of Celebration of Excellence and Perfection in the beauty Industry.
Arguably West Africa’s biggest annual beauty awards event, it will honour beauty professionals, businesses entities, and brands in the sub-region.
It is under the theme “Celebrating Excellence; Finding Perfection in Imperfection”.
The theme reflects the significance of 7 years of operations and relevance in line with the figure 7, which connotes completion and perfection in many facets of life.
The GBA aims to recognize and reward excellence and perfection displayed by industry players who have contributed to the development of the beauty industry in Ghana and beyond.
The event as usual will have a glamorous red carpet reception, a cocktail networking session, and a live musical performance to give a unique treat to winners of the night.
Apart from the main categories, special honours will be given to pioneers, captains and promising talents of the industry as Lifetime Achievement and Special Recognition Awards.
Makeup Ghana is a social enterprise, creating a unifying platform for the stakeholders in the fast growing beauty industry in Ghana.
Its goal is to bring together makeup professionals, makeup brands, beauty retailers and fashion & beauty content creators in Ghana under one umbrella to champion the growth of the industry.
This is to be achieved through advocacy and consumer education and brand marketing; showcasing talents and innovation within the industry; training and professional development of practitioners and artists; trade shows, Conferences and networking events, encouraging best practices and standards in the industry, all aimed at being catalysts for growth and inspiring excellence within the beauty industry.
