Ghana has begun discussions with the United States on a treaty to guide investment between the two countries.
The Ghana-US bilateral treaty will also guide trade and create opportunities for businesses.
Speaking at a meeting with Trade Minister, Hannah Tetteh, US Trade Representative, Ron Kirk says the agreement will be of immense benefit to both countries.
Trade Minister, Hannah Tetteh, on her part, assured the trade mission that government will put in place measures to protect their investments of American businesses in Ghana.
