Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac will invite only 23 players for camping ahead of next January's Africa Cup of Nations finals in Angola.
The Serbian wants to end the perennial post-selection acrimonious talks after players are dropped from a pool of invited players for a major competition.
Thus players invited for the team's camping camp in Nelspruit, South Africa starting 27 December will automatically represent the country at the Nations Cup.
Rajevac on Tuesday dropped a hint that his squad will be a blend of junior internationals including members of the Black Satellites Fifa World Cup winning team and experienced players.
The 55-year-old will also name his third choice goalkeeper after duo George Owu and William Amamoo failed to impress.
But the injury situations of Michael Essien and Stephen Appiah are likely to delay the announcement of the final list.
The Black Stars will play Malawi on January 3, 2010 in an international friendly at their camping base in South Africa.
