With less than 24 hours to the awards night, Ghana Connect tonight discussed controversy surrounding the 2015 Ghana Music Awards (GMA) and questioned whether the Awards has real impact on the Ghanaian music industry.
The GMA celebrates the "best" of a struggling music industry. Behind the facade of the glitz and glamour is an industry fraught with drama, poor quality of music, and, allegedly, events organisers with a gross disrespect for undervalued musicians, which has some arguing that the awards have failed to make any meaningful impact on society.
On tonight's Ghana Connect, Showbiz critic, Francis Doku; music fan and entertainment blogger, Felix Adomako; MUSICA administrator, Ahuma Bosco Ocansey (Daddy Bosco); and PRO for Multiple Concepts, parent company for Charterhouse, organisers of the GMAs George Quaye take apart the awards.
