The most valuable thing in Ghana's camp at the ongoing FIFA U-17 World Cup is the Ghana National Flag by Korean fans who want the Red, Gold, Green with the centred little Black Star as souvenir to cheer the Starlets.
The Korean fans who thronged the Changwon Sports Complex to support the Black Starlets chased the Ghanaians soon after the Ghana - Peru match asking for the high-in-demand Ghanaian flags.
Those who had the miniature Ghana flags waved at the victorious players and officials as their vehicle left the stadium while others teased their colleagues by waving the flag in their faces for not having any flag.
Some of the fans rushed to the Ghanaian journalists and begged for flags, which they said was attractive to them and want to keep as a
souvenir and to use in supporting Ghana in their remaining matches.
The fans defied a heavy downpour and traced the team to their hotel to demand more flags.
There is massive support and goodwill for Ghana's team in almost all parts of Korea, which has become a moral booster to the Starlets and which should spur them on to lift the cup for the third time.Source: GNA
