Hearts of Oak head coach Martin Koopman says his side's training session performances are beginning to reflect in matches in the Ghana Premier League.
Despite showing a rich vein of form during pre-season, the Phobians have had a stuttering start to the season with one win in their first six games, scoring two goals in the process.
But they ended a run of four games without a win by beating Medeama SC 3-1 at the Accra Sports stadium on Wednesday afternoon - the first time the team found the net more than once in a game this term.
"At home, yes [best performance], the last game before this, I think it was also okay. They [players] like to play football and they [fans] must wait a long time but now they see if you are patient," Koopman said.
"We did it at the training session, it is coming back in the game. You see what can happen in a few weeks."
Youngster Hamzah Issah was influential in securing the win, hitting a brace which includes a fine finish to double the Phobians' lead after Appiah Kubi scored own goal.
But he suffered a running stomach which led to his substitution at half time.

"He had a lot problem with stomach, every time to the toilet. I ask 'where is Hamza', again he is on the toilet so I must change him but you see the quality of Hamza, he has something from Romario, low on the ground, turn very fast. I like him very much." Koopman remarked.
Hearts of Oak sit in 13th on the league table with nine points and travel away to Tamale against Karela United in their next outing.
