Ghana is set to host the Africa Aquatics Zone II Junior and Senior Championships, scheduled for October 7, 2024.
Nineteen countries have confirmed their participation in the three-day event, which will take place at the Borteyman Sports Complex in Accra.
Ghana is no stranger to organizing such competitions, having hosted the last junior edition in August 2023, where the nation secured 22 medals.
The swimming events of the 13th African Games were also recently held in the country, with Ghana earning an unprecedented two medals.
Ghana's talisman swimmer Abeku Jackson, Joselle Mensah, Harry Stacey, and other compatriots are expected to elevate the country's performance even further at the upcoming championships.
