The Ghana Tourism Authority has officially endorsed the 2025 edition of Le Diner en Blanc Accra, set for Saturday, 27 December 2025.
The confirmation strengthens the event’s standing as one of the key lifestyle experiences expected to draw attention to Ghana during the festive season.
In a formal letter signed by Mr Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey, Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Marketing and Special Duties, on behalf of the Chief Executive Officer, the Authority described Le Diner en Blanc Accra as “an elegant and sophisticated event that brings people together to enjoy a themed evening of dining under the stars.”
The endorsement highlighted the global reputation of the concept, which has been held in more than 120 cities across 40 countries. It noted the event’s ability to create memorable experiences while attracting international media interest that aligns with Ghana’s broader tourism goals.
“The Ghana Tourism Authority believes the objective of this event supports our goals of promoting tourism and showcasing the unique cultural experiences that Ghana has to offer through its rich culture, vibrant music and dance, and delicious cuisine,” the statement said.
“The event provides a platform to exhibit the country’s culinary potentials and other aspects of the country to a global audience while offering a unique opportunity for tourists to experience the beauty and hospitality of Ghana in a luxurious and exclusive setting.”
The Authority also commended Globe Scanner Ghana Ltd, organisers of Le Diner en Blanc Accra, for their dedication in bringing this widely recognised experience to Ghana. It encouraged “foodies, lifestyle and themed party enthusiasts to participate and experience this unique dining experience.”
“We are deeply honored by the Ghana Tourism Authority’s endorsement,” said Dorcas Abbeyquaye, one of the hosts of Diner en Blanc Accra. “This recognition strengthens our mission to position Ghana as a premier destination for world-class events that blend culture, creativity, and community.”
Le Diner en Blanc, which began in Paris more than 30 years ago, has grown into a global phenomenon celebrated for its all white dress code, secret locations and emphasis on friendship and elegance. The 2025 Accra edition promises an unforgettable evening of fine dining, music and cultural pride under the stars.
