The 2022 Ghana Twitter Awards is slated for Friday, December 9.
The scheme, which was instituted three years ago, is aimed at celebrating Twitter users and influencers who have excelled over the year under review.
The awards are open to all Ghanaian Twitter users who have active Twitter accounts, good internet etiquette, and high recommendations.
This year’s edition has seen a record number of nominations, with more than 200 entries.
The event will take place at the Accra Metropolitan Assembly at 6 p.m.
In October, the board of the Ghana Twitter Awards (GTA) released the list of nominees for this year’s edition.
The awards scheme has been virtual for the last two years, but it was moved to reality this year, and it was a huge success for a first-time show.
This year's celebration is also expected to live up to expectations, with Quamina MP, Keche, DJay, Gambo, and other artists performing.
