Ghana's Black Stars and the Super Eagles of Nigeria have just finished the first half of their international friendly at Brentford’s Griffin park, England with no goals to either side.Ghana named a strong squad to battle Nigeria’s Super Eagles in tonight’s international friendly at Brentford’s Griffin park, England.The squad includes central defenders, John Mensah and Shilla Illiasu who both missed out of another friendly against Australia last year.Ghana Starting XI: Richard Kingson, Hans Adu Sarpei, Habib Mohammed, John Mensah, Shilla Illiasu, Michael Essien, Laryea Kingson, Stephen Appiah, Sulley Muntari, Asamoah Gyan and Junior Agogo.Substitutes: Sammy Adjei, John Paintsil, Francis Dickoh, Eric Addo, Joe Tex Frimpong and Derek Asamoah.Ghana is seeking to exorcise a debilitating hold by the Super Eagles since 1992 when the Black Stars pipped them in a Nations Cup game in Senegal.Nigeria has equally lined up a good side for the campaign as the two sides seek to build up preparations for the Nations Cup next year.Nigeria is hoping to pick a starting line up from Vincent Enyeama, Austin Ejide, George Abbey, Joseph Yobo, Joseph Enakarhire, Obinna Nwaneri and Ifeanyi Udeze.The rest are Taye Taiwo, Seyi Olofinjana, Christian Obodo,Wilson Oruma, Carlton Cole, Yakubu Aiyegbeni, Nwankwo Kanu, Osaze Odemwingie, John Mikel Obi, Julius Aghahowa, Ayodele Makinwa and John Utaka.
