The CEO and Founder of Flair Catering Services Limited of Ghana, Madam Barbara Baeta, marked Flair's 50 year anniversary with the signing of “The Ghana Cookbook” at Indigo-Chapters Book Shop in Orleans, a suburb of Ottawa, Canada.
Chapters is one of the leading Bookshops in Canada.
The book, which was co-authored by Mrs. Fran Osseo-Asare and Madam Barbara Baeta was very well received.
The event was graced by members of Barbara Baeta’s family in Canada and a number of friends and colleagues that she met during her student days in Canada in the early 1960’s. In addition, ladies from ZONTA and YWCA were also present to grace the occasion.
Others who had visited Ghana were also happy to have a book that they could cook their favourite Ghanaian dishes from. The book won the Gourmand Cookbook Award in 2016.
Mrs. Christine Trapp Longley who is the Manager of the Indigo – Chapters Orleans branch and her two senior officers, namely Messrs Leo William Pharand and Chris Farrell were all very instrumental and supportive in making the event and the day a great success.
