Two Ghanaian youngsters, Issa Mumuni and Abdul Bashiru, will undergo trials with Italian Serie A side Fiorentina from next week.
The two midfielders, each aged 17, were expected to arrive in the Italian city of Florence on Wednesday.
Bashiru, who plays for Maamobi Midtjyland, was spotted by scouts of the Italian side while he was playing for Ghana's U-17 team the Black Starlets.
Mumuni - is also a player for Maamobi Midtjyland - but has been loaned out to top flight club St Mirren, where Fiorentina officials noted his talent.
"The two players will leave Ghana next week to begin trials with Fiorentina," Gigi Mohammed CEO of Maamobi Midtjyland told Ghanasoccernet.
"Fiorentina officials were in the country during the African Cup of Nations and they saw Mumuni and Bashiru play in a mini-tournament in Accra.
"I know the players are capable of making the grade at Fiorentina and we really hope that they perform well during their two-week stay in Italy."
Maamobi Midtjyland has produced several players for clubs in Europe.
