It was just a matter of time. Perhaps it got close, really close as Liverpool took a giant step to that elusive Premier League title after beating Crystal Palace 4-0.
All that was left was one win, just another win considering they had mustered 28 already.
However, Liverpool didn't even have to step on the pitch to complete the task.
On Thursday evening, Chelsea handed the title to Liverpool after beating Manchester City 2-1.
The final whistle meant that Liverpool had won their 19th Premier League title ending their 30-year wait in the process.
Players and coaching staff were in ecstatic mood, however, miles away in Ghana, Liverpool fans also shared their excitement in the video below.
