Fuel prices have been reduced over the weekend, but Ghanaians are unaware.Unlike previous times when changes in fuel prices either up or down have created furore in the country, this weekend’s decrease went by unnoticed.Last Saturday, the price of petroleum products went down by 5%.Deregulation of petroleum prices was instituted about two years ago.It was intended to treat petroleum products just like any commodity. One thing though, would be expected to happen – commuters are likely to have confrontations with drivers when they get to know that fuel prices have been reduced, because they would expect related decreases in transport fares.
