Dr Mayfield Osei-Tutu, Deputy Managing Director of Top Herbal Clinic, has advised Ghanaians to have regular medical check-ups to stay healthy and for the early detection of diseases.
He said diseases identified early were less expensive and easy to treat.
Speaking to the Ghana News Agency in Accra on Wednesday, he said the clinic had offered quality treatment for the people over the past 20 years.
Dr Osei-Tutu gave the assurance that the clinic would continue to improve its services with the acquisition of modern equipment to provide quality healthcare for its patients.
He said the clinic was improving its herbal products and would produce capsules to ensure easy and effective administration.
Dr Osei-Tutu advised herbal practitioners to conduct more research into their products to avoid complications and prolong their shelf life.
He said the clinic treated many diseases including fibroid, pneumonia, stroke and typhoid fever.
He called on the government to speed up the processing of claims under the National Health Insurance Scheme.Source: GNA
