The Presiding elder of the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church of Cape Coast, Reverend Wilberforce Wireko on Friday reminded Ghanaians that every New Year has its challenges hence the need to prepare to face them. Reverend Wireko said as Ghanaians usher in the New Year, they should take time to do a careful self assessment by reflecting on the past year to identify where they fell short and where they excelled and make the necessary corrections where needed. In his New Year message to Ghanaians, he said it was his prayer that Ghana continues to enjoy its peace and tranquillity. Reverend Wireko also prayed for an accelerated socio-economic and political growth, urging politicians to co-exist peacefully with their opponents. He also urged them to conduct their activities devoid of hatred and to ensure that love reigns in the country. At the St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church in Cape Coast the head, Reverend Dr. Albert frank Anakwa, advised the youth to avoid any negative lifestyle as it would jeopardize their future. Source: GNA
