The Chiefs and people of the Dodome Traditional Area in the Ho West District of the Volta Region have honoured Gift Emmanuel Kofi Tsamah, Esq., and three others with a Citation of Honour in recognition of exceptional contributions to community development and cultural advancement.
The other three are: former Volta Regional Education Director, Enyonam Afi Amafuga, Colonel (Mrs) Vivian Malvin Oklu-Adzah and Dogoe Degboe family.

The awards were presented during the climax of the 2025 Agadziza Festival at Dodome Awuiasu.
The citation described them, all natives of the area, as “committed advocates for community development whose vision and generosity continue to make a lasting impact on their people.”
Mr Tsamah was celebrated for sponsoring the Dodome Awuiasu Water Project, which has provided residents with access to clean and safe drinking water, significantly improving living standards.
He was also commended for his consistent support of the Agadziza Festival and his promotion of community–media engagements aimed at strengthening cultural pride and participation in local development.
The Paramount Chief of the Dodome Traditional Area, Togbega Kpangbatriku IV, lauded Mr Tsamah for his humility, generosity, and leadership, describing him as an inspiration to the youth and a true example of patriotism.
The Chiefs and people expressed their profound gratitude for his enduring dedication to the progress of Dodome, noting that his efforts have fostered unity, hope, and a renewed spirit of service within the community.
Madam Enyonam Afi Amafuga

Madam Amafuga is also described as "a distinguished daughter of Dodome Dogblome, whose life story is one of vision, courage, and service to both her community and the nation."
"Through hard work, perseverance, and an unyielding spirit, she rose through the ranks in the Ghana Education Service to become the Regional Director of Education, a position of honour and responsibility that she carried with excellence and dignity," the citation added.
The paramount chief emphasised, "Today, as the chiefs and people of the Dodome Traditional Area celebrate the Second Agadziza, we, with hearts full of gratitude, honour and salute this noble woman for her outstanding contributions to education, community development, and humanity."
Colonel (Mrs) Vivian Malvin Oklu-Adzah

For Colonel Oklu-Adzah, the chief said, "Colonel (Mrs) Vivian Malvin Oklu-Adzah is known for her industrious spirit, humility, and deep sense of community. She continues to stand by her people, supporting the Dodome Traditional Area in many ways—socially, culturally, and developmentally. Her love for home and her constant willingness to contribute to its progress reflect the heart of a true daughter of the land."
"May the good Lord continue to bless and strengthen her as she inspires others to follow the path of excellence, unity, and dedication," sated in the citation.
Dogoe Degboe Family

The Dogoe Degboe family is also praised for the exceptional roles they have played in the development of the traditional area.
"Mr. Phillip Korkuvi Dogbey, a son of the family, played a pivotal role in initiating the construction of the modern Kindergarten building at Awuasiu, a project that has enhanced early childhood education and provided a safe and conducive learning environment for the community's youngest members. Other family members demonstrated solidarity and support by supplying essential building materials for the project, reflecting the family's shared dedication to communal development and service," the chief said.
