Glitz Africa is set to hold the 7th annual SHE Summit Mentorship Program – Accra Edition.
The transformative event seeks to connect aspiring women professionals with accomplished mentors to
foster personal and career growth through guidance, support, and networking opportunities.
The Summit is expected to provide a dynamic platform for aspiring women professionals to connect
with established leaders and industry experts. This will feature a variety of interactive sessions, panel
discussions, and mentoring opportunities designed to empower participants with the knowledge, skills,
and networks necessary to succeed in their respective fields.
By fostering mentorship relationships and offering guidance to aspiring women professionals, the SHE
Summit Mentorship Program aligns with Glitz Africa’s commitment to gender equality, diversity, and
inclusion in the workplace. The event aims to equip women with the tools, resources, and confidence
needed to navigate their career paths, break through barriers, and achieve their full potential.
The theme for the Summit ‘Advancing women for leadership roles and overcoming gender barriers’, will
be led by Member of Parliament for Okaikwei South, Dakoa Newman, who will serve as Keynote
Speaker with Dr. Vanessa Aseye Mensah-Kabu as event host.
Participating speakers include: Ama Frimpomaa, Managing Director, SIC Life Savings and Loans; Valerie
Obaze, CEO R&R Luxury; Elinam Horgli, Deputy Managing Director of Horgli Transport and Company
Limited; Dr. Louisa Satekla, Medical Practitioner; Sika Osei Doughlas, Actress, TV Host and Content
Producer; Beryl Agyekum-Ayaaba, CEO, Echo House Ghana Limited, and Dr. Hannah-Lisa Tetteh
Medical Doctor.
The Summit will be characterised by engaging panel discussions and workshops as well as networking
opportunities aimed at enabling participants to connect with mentors, peers and industry influencers.
These connections will serve as a valuable resource for career advice, collaboration and future
opportunities.
The event is slated to take place on 24th June, 2023 at the Accra Digital Centre at 9 am prompt.
