Kumasi Asante Kotoko raced into a two-goal first-half lead against Liberty Professionals at the Ohene Djan Stadium, however, a resilient Liberty almost succeeded in dispatching Kotoko empty handed, cancelling out the deficit and going ahead 3:2 until the final minute when Kojo Poku fetched the vital equalizer.Kojo Poku gave Kotoko the leader after 24 minutes and Alex Asamoah topped it with a second after 35 minutes, threatening to live through their promise to unseat league leaders Accra Hearts of Oak.Liberty were however a transformed side on resumption and Salifu Latif pulled one back for his side after persistently harassing the Kotoko defence.
