Berekum Chelsea striker Charles Taylor has denied reports of beating up a ball boy in their week 21 Glo premier league game with Bechem united at the Bechem Park.
The former Hearts and Kotoko player was reported to have assaulted the boy after the youngster made some comments about his output in the game which ended goalless.
In an interview on Asempa Fm’s sports morning show, Charles Taylor denied slapping a ball boy and stated that it came as surprise when he heard the reports
“I’m really surprised at this because I didn’t speak to anyone after the game, so I don’t know where this is coming from? We were escorted by the police to the dressing room, so how possible can I beat someone in the presence of the police?.There is no truth in the story ".he told Asempa Sports
Charles Taylor has not been in the best of form as Ghanaians know him since he joined Chelsea and is hoping to help the 2011 premier league Champions progress in the CAF Champions league with his experience on the African continent.
