The Group Chief Executive and Managing Director GOIL Company Limited, has appealed to Ghanaians to see GOIL as their own and invest in it for positive future returns.
Speaking at the commissioning of an ultra-modern Zonal Office at Kpone near Tema, Kwame Osei Prempeh said critical investments made In bitumen production and gas as well as the modernization and expansion of its infrastructure will yield enough dividends and offer multiple value for shareholders.
The Zonal Office complex will serve the company’s operations in the Tema business enclave of Ashaiman, Kpone, Somanya Districts, Volta and Oti Regions.
The office complex is fitted with aluminum cladding and curtain walls and has offices for all departments and equipped with other facilities including a canteen and kitchen as well as cubicles for both a bank and customer interaction. The office project was supervised by GOIL’s own consultants and Engineers.
Mr. Osei Prempeh said the company is on course to modernize its infrastructure to be in tune with its expansion drive. This, he said, has involved the upgrading of the company’s service stations, improvement in customer service and ensuring product quality and quantity.
He was hopeful that the new Zonal Office would go a long way to facilitate smooth business transactions and boost productivity and morale of staff.
The Board Chairman of the company, Kwamena Bartels, said the opening of the office was in response in part, to the increasing growth in business and expansion of the Tema port which prompted the company to prepare adequately to capitalize on the opportunities.

He noted GOIL is positive about the company’s future and is determined to position it to capitalize on new opportunities as the economy rebounds from the effect of COVID-19 outbreak.
The Special Guest of Honour, Nii Tei Kojo Amanqwah Sune I, Gbetsele Mantse, expressed gratitude to GOIL for establishing good relationship with traditional authorities in the communities in which they operate. He assured the company, he will lead the charge to convince Ghanaians to invest in the company.
There were solidarity messages by the Managing Director of GCB Bank, Kofi Adomako, and the Chamber of Petroleum Consumers, COPEC.    Â
