The government has initiated moves to retrieve all items taken away from the former Flag Staff House residence of the first President, Dr Kwame Nkrumah.
The items are to be displayed at the residency which has been rehabilitated for use as a museum.
Consequently, all persons in possession of any of the items are requested to return them to the Acting Chief Director of the Ministry of Information and National Orientation.
A press release, issued by the Ministry and signed by Stephen Asamoah-Boateng, the Minister described as unfortunate the fact that all the items have ended up in individual homes.
It named some of them as the furniture, equipment and crockery, indicating that the Ministry will very much count on the goodwill and patriotism of all Ghanaians in this regard.
