Ms Ama Benyiwa-Doe, Central Regional Minister, has called on Ghanaians to be patient with the NDC government in its efforts at building a better Ghana as promised by President John Evans Atta Mills.She said the government had been given a four-year mandate to steer the affairs of the country and it was inappropriate to judge it by the ten months it has so far being in office.Mrs Benyiwa-Doe was addressing two separate durbars organised in her honour by the chiefs and people of Breman Asikuma and Breman Brakwa as part of her formulization tour of the region.She said government would not renege on its promises to Ghanaians and asked them to contribute to the national development. Mrs Benyiwa-Doe appealed to people who criticising the government of being slow in finding solution to the country's problems to stop the practice and wait for end of the four years mandate.She thanked the people for voting the NDC into power and assured them that the government would fulfil its promises.At Brakwa, Nana Yamoah IV, Chief of the town, appealed to the government to work on a Senior/Technical School project started five years ago. Nana Amoakwa Buadu VIII Omanhene of Breman Asikuma Traditional Area, commended the government for undertaking development programmes in the district and appealed for the rehabilitation of the Breman-Asikuma-Breman Ahiwiam-Anyinabrim road to facilitate economic activities.Source: GNA
