The DCE for Jasikan District Lawrence Aziale has reiterated government’s commitment in making sure that the needs of the people are met at all levels of life.
“Government is doing its best to provide the basic amenities to the various communities,” Aziale said.
In regards to education, Aziale said government is doing its best in the provision of learning materials to enhance the Free Senior High School policy.
Aziale made these comments when he commissioned a number of projects in the district to enhance development as well as fulfilling government promises to the people in the Jasikan District.
Mr Aziale, who also did an inspection on some other ongoing projects in the district, said government is making sure that all projects are completed on time.
He added that in the global world of information technology, education is both a necessity and an investment in which everyone must be able to embrace with all seriousness.
“The era when education was acquired in crowded and stressful classes is becoming a thing of the past as the government has taken a firm stand in ensuring that its policy on education is fulfilled with the provision of basic infrastructure as priority,” Aziale said.
He promised to make sure that those challenges are addressed as soon as possible.
He thanked the president for fulfilling his promises to the people of Jasikan district and the entire region
The Principal for the FR Dogli Memorial Technical Institute in new Ayoma, Mrs Dzaka Bridget ,who expressed appreciation to the DCE said aside the classroom space and challenges, the school is also faced with serious problems in terms of furniture for the students.
According to him, students are compelled to move from one place to another in search of furniture during school hours which makes students miss most of their classes.
“As Oliver twist once said, please we want more,”Bridget said.
In all, four projects were commissioned and five have been inspected.
