Joy News’ Northern Region correspondent Clement Boateng who was present at the venue of the primaries said Alhaji Fuseini was carried shoulder high by enthusiastic supporters.
The election was not without controversy as one of the delegates was arrested for carrying a pistol to the venue of the election.
