Asante Kotoko midfielder Emmanuel Antwi believes his season at the club could have been better if not for injuries, which 'held' him back.
The hardworking midfielder joined the Porcupine Warriors in July for the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season, joining on a free transfer after his stint with Great Olympics.
Antwi got his Kotoko career underway with a goal on matchday three of the league, scoring in the 1-1 draw against Young Apostles at home.
In the end, he made just 15 starts at the club, while adding a further nine substitute appearances with his absences due to injuries.
"It was a great start for me. After my call-up to the Black Stars, I had issues - injuries, personal issues," he told the club's media team assessing his debut season with Kotoko.
"I would say it was a great start, but going forward, I came down due to the injuries and what I was going through as well.
"I would say it was 50/50."
Antwi will look to wrap up his season with Kotoko with the FA Cup victory over Golden Kick when the two teams meet in the final on Sunday, June 14.
