The Greater Accra Regional Directorate of the Electoral Commission, has rescheduled the Unit Committee and District Assembly Elections in the region for Thursday 30th December, instead of Wednesday 29th December.
A press release issued and signed by the Regional Director, Mr Muhammed Adoquaye, said the “Directorate has taken this decision because ballot papers for all Districts in the region could not be delivered on Tuesday as scheduled”.
The statement said “the ballot papers will certainly be delivered on Wednesday for the elections to be conducted in all the 15 Districts of the Region on Thursday 30th December, 2010 at all polling stations”.
