Greater Accra Regional Minister, Nii Laryea Afotey-Agbo has been hospitalised following a serious accident he was involved in at Tema.
The accident occurred at Community 18 Junction on the Abattoire Road around 8:30 pm Tuesday, according to Adomonline.com.

Adom News’ Kofi Assan, who was at the scene of the accident reported that the minister was on his way to inspect road construction works on the Spintex Road when an unregistered Toyota Camry collided with his vehicle.
The Toyota Camry vehicle with four occupants, all men, somersaulted several times after collision.
The head-on collision was said to have damaged the Minister’s 4x4 vehicle beyond repair.

'Lion' as he is popularly known was rushed to the hospital after injuring his leg. The young men in the Toyota Camry vehicle were also hospitalised together with the policeman who was travelling with the minister.
Meanwhile , the Tema police has begun investigations into the accident.
