The Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCo) has rendered an apology for last Saturday’s power outages to many parts of the country.
In a brief statement, the power distribution company explained that a system disturbance on its 330KV line led to the unannounced power cuts.
“GRIDCo apologises for any inconvenience caused and remains committed to its mandate of delivering reliable power supply,” the power company said in the statement.
Parts of the Volta Region, Greater Accra Region, Eastern Region, Northern Region and Ashanti Region were affected during the intermittent power outages on Saturday, March 15, 2020.
