Management and staff of Ada District Hospital and its surrounding communities will now heave a sigh of relief following a major renovation of the hospital building by Groupe Ideal.
The first and only district hospital in the Ada area has for 13 years not received any major refurbishment. The gesture by Groupe Ideal is to ensure that Patients who visit the hospital are treated under proper hygienic condition while the doctors and nurses also work in a more pleasant environment.
Inspecting the work done with a section of his management team and staff, the President of Groupe Ideal, Dr. Nii Kotei Dzani said “Anybody here can be the next patient to this hospital hence our pledge to continually support this health facility in times of need.”

He emphasized, the refurbishment of the hospital by Groupe Ideal underscores the company’s commitment to supporting the health sector as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility. He added that Groupe Ideal will continue to extend support to other sectors that will impact positively on the well-being of Ghanaians.
“Coming to the aid of the hospital will enable us provide the needed health support to the community” Dr. Nii Kotei Dzani affirmed.
The Medical Superintendent of the Hospital, Dr. Philip Narh lauded Groupe Ideal’s initiative and disclosed that the gesture is the biggest donation the hospital has ever received.
The President of Groupe Ideal pledged to further assist the hospital with an ambulance which the medical superintendent appealed for.
The Ada District Hospital was inaugurated in 2003 by the Chinese Government for the Government of Ghana. The 70 bed capacity hospital sees to about 40,000 patients yearly which includes about 5000 out patients and administers about 1000 new births every year.
