The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) All-Share Index, the benchmark measure of the Accra bourse, had another impressive run on Thursday when it went up by 15.78 points from 9,900.96 points on Wednesday to 9,916.74.
Change for the year to date now stands at 50.26 per cent.
Traded volumes closed the session lower at 201,900 shares down from 1,204,100 shares during the previous session.
The prices of five equities appreciated with Fan Milk Limited (FML) leading the pack with GH¢ 0.16 gain to close at GH¢ 3.50. SIC Insurance (SIC) was GH¢ 0.02 richer at GH¢ 0.61. Three of the equities; Enterprise Insurance Company Limited (EIC), Ghana Oil Company Limited (GOIL) and Unilever Ghana Limited (UNIL) gained GH¢ 0.01 each to close trading at GH¢ 2.07; GH¢ 0.28 and GH¢ 2.47, in that order.
Market capitalisation ended the session up at GH¢15,273.19 million compared to GH¢15,244.75 million on Wednesday.Source: GSE
