Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited (GGBL) on May 6, 2014, presented 100 cases of assorted premium drinks and other items worth GH¢30,000.00 to support the celebration of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II’s 15th Anniversary celebrations.
Making the presentation, Rita Rockson, GGBL Communications Manager said Kumasi is the home of the company since it is in the Ashanti regional capital that operation started in 1962.
"Over the years we have received tremendous support and acceptance of our premium brands...from the people of Ashanti Region and we wish to express our solidarity to His Majesty, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II on his 15th Anniversary as Asantehene. Our contribution is to support the people of Ashanti to celebrate this memorable event."
GGBL started operating in Kumasi as Guinness Ghana Limited in 1962 producing only Guinness Foreign Extra Stout.
Today GGBL is a leader in the brewing business in Ghana.
