Happy Sunshine Company Limited has unveiled its newest product, La Vonce Pepper Sauce Shito. This is adding a healthy and traditionally flavored option to the vibrant Ghanaian food market.
The company describes the latest offering as a seamless fusion of authentic Ghanaian taste and modern nutritional value, reinforcing its commitment to preserving culinary heritage, while catering to today’s health-conscious consumers.
Speaking at the launch, acting Chief Executive Patrick Amoaku Mensah emphasized that La Vonce Pepper Sauce Shito remains true to the original taste of tradition, crafted carefully to meet contemporary dietary needs without compromising on flavor.
"We thought it needed that shito is our daily necessity especially when it comes to our schools. We went to our board room and thought of bringing something very authentic to the market. It's just like Mama made it, no additives, it's purely natural. We have shrimps, fish, natural chilli pepper and these are all essential ingredients that are helpful for the body," he said.

In addition to the product launch, Mr. Mensah stressed that the “La Vonce 1 Cedi Carton Project” is dedicated to supporting the academic development of children by investing in schools and educational resources.

"As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility, we are giving back to society. We aren't taking GH₵1 from anyone and our “La Vonce 1 Cedi Carton Project” doesn't affect the price mechanisms of our product in any way. With every one carton that you buy, Happy Sunshine takes 1 cedi of it to the Happy Sunshine Foundation," he added.
He noted that the “La Vonce 1 Cedi Carton Project” cuts across on the shito as well. With the introduction of La Vonce Pepper Sauce Shito and the rollout of its education-focused CSR project, Happy Sunshine Company Limited is positioning itself not just as a dynamic player in Ghana’s food sector, but also as a partner in the country’s social and economic development.
