The flagbearer of the People’s National Convention (PNC) Hassan Ayariga is likely to outdoor a communications expert and educationist Helen Sanorita Dzatugbe Matervi, as his running mate for December elections, to the party’s National Executive Committee.
If her selection is endorsed at the PNC’s NEC meeting today, Madam Dzatugbe would become the third female running mate for the elections after PPP’s Eva Lokko and CPP’s Nana Akosua Frimpomaa II who are both partnering Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom and Dr. Sakara Foster respectively.
Mr. Ayariga will present his choice of running mate would meet the National Executive Committee of the PNC today to introduce his running mate to them.
The party had earlier planned to announce the name on Friday. But executives of the party have now decided to put out the name earlier than planned.
