Accra Hearts of Oak have appointed former RTU player, Shaibu Tanko, as the assistant coach for the second round of the Glo premier league.
The management of the Phobians made this decision to re-assign Coach Anthony Allotey to augment the technical bench of Auroras to groom new talents from the club’s youthful side.
The Winneba University of Education graduate coach Shaibu has been tasked to assist Paa Kwesi Fabin on the bench to attain a Top Four feat.
Meanwhile, the club’s spokesperson, Albert Commey told Joy Sports the club will turn things around in the second round.
He said Hearts' management recognized the club didn’t do well in the first round and was poised to make amends.
Mr Commey said the club was also determined to lift their game in the second round of the league and give their supporters a reason to go to the stadiums and watch their matches.
