Accra Hearts of Oak scored twice to beat visiting Kessben FC by 2:0 at the Ohene Djan Stadium on Sunday.
Goals from Raphael Obeng and Ekwow Ghansah ensured Hearts will enrich their league points build up with all three points at stake in their 25th week Onetouch league game.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko also accounted for Ashantigold by 2:0 at the Baba Yara Stadium where goals from George Asare and Francis Akwafo ended the visitors’ fine form of late.
Bottom club, Accra Great Olympics pipped fellow strugglers Zaytuna United by a lone goal at the Elwak Stadium courtesy a Paa Joe Kumah strike, while Liberty Professionals managed to hold Kpando Heart of Lions to a pulsating one-all game at Kpando.
Latif Suleiman scored first for Liberty before Lion’s Suleiman Ibrahim equalised.
Tema Youth squandered a penalty but managed to bang in two goals against Gamba All Blacks at Tema with Edward Affum and Naana Eshun striking in a three-minute blitz.
Berekum Arsenals beat visiting King Faisal by 2:1 with Bright Nsiah and Abdulai Seidu providing the goals for the homeside. Wa All Stars and Real Sportive fought to a goalless draw while Real Tamale United and Sekondi Hasaacas shared honours at the Tamale Stadium after settling for one-all.
