Accra Hearts of Oak beat bitter rivals, Kumasi Asante Kotoko, 1-2 at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday in the topliner of the Glo Premier League and opened a seven point lead at the summit of the League table. Captain Hassan Mohammed put Hearts ahead on 12 minutes when he popped up to slot in a rebound inside the 18-yard. Hearts could have double their lead but striker Samuel Affum poor conversion rate kept the score line 1-0 into the break. The Phobians looked well composed in the second half and on more than one occasion threatened the Kotoko goal area.
