President of Rugby Africa, Herbert Mensah, has been elected to the World Rugby Executive Board, marking a significant milestone in his career and the governance of African rugby.
The announcement was made on Thursday, November 14, 2024, following a rigorous selection process.
Mensah’s election highlights his commitment to advancing rugby across the African continent and globally.
As president of Rugby Africa, Mensah has been pivotal in promoting grassroots rugby, enhancing infrastructure, and amplifying Africa’s presence on the global rugby stage.
Notable among his achievements is the recent successful organization of the Women’s Sevens Tournament in Ghana—the first of its kind in West Africa.
