Since his debut comedy special, Seriously Joking, in October 2019, Ghanaian architect and stand-up comedian, Ebenezer Dwomoh, has consistently delivered rib-cracking performances, making him one of the most sought-after comedians in Ghana.
On August 20, 2022, his birthday, he hosted his sophomore special, I’m Not Fooling, which earned him an impressive attendance in Kumasi.
Last year, he presented his third comedy special, Architect Without a Plan, seamlessly weaving his architectural profession into his comedic craft, leaving audiences roaring with laughter.
The year 2024 has been the most productive season since Ebenezer Dwomoh started stand-up comedy.
Comedy Specials
Dwomoh began 2024 with a February special, Funnitecture, a re-run of his 2023 special, Architect Without a Plan. Audiences were treated to an unforgettable evening of laughter, with an atmosphere filled with joy and amusement.

Openers (Local and International)
Following his February special, Dwomoh was invited by Basket Mouth to open the Cancel Culture comedy show in March at the AICC in Ghana. His exceptional performance earned him a feature as Joy Prime’s spotlight personality of the week.

In April, Dwomoh took his craft to Lagos, Nigeria, where he performed at Laugh Out Live, hosted by Buchi. Later in September, he opened for Okokobioko’s Standing Strong comedy show at the National Theatre, further cementing his place as one of Ghana's finest comedians.

Hosting and MCing
Dwomoh showcased his versatility by hosting two major comedy specials: Tailored Humour by Kwaku Forty in May and Hear Me Out by Afia Barcelona in July. Beyond comedy events, he graced numerous weddings as an MC, bringing his signature Afro-dance moves to add a magical touch to celebrations.
Comedy Writing Camp
In May, Dwomoh collaborated with the Ghana Comedy Club to organize a free, self-funded Comedy Writing Camp at 2927 Restaurant and Pub in Tesano. This initiative reflected his commitment to nurturing talent and advancing the comedy industry.
Stage Play
Dwomoh starred in Gen Z Versus Kwame Nkrumah, a stage play by Kejetia Vs Makola, written and directed by Louis Lamis. The performance at the Great Hall, KNUST, was a resounding success.
Screenplay
He also brought his talent to the screen, playing Jojo, one of the lead characters, in all 13 episodes of Only in Africa. This series, produced by Leizer Legacy Production, featured notable actors such as Clemento Suarez, Jeneral Ntatia, Pearl Dackey, and Ruth Derricks.
Corporate Performances
Dwomoh made a strong impression in the corporate world, performing at several high-profile events, including Goldfields Senior Staff event (January), Absa Town Hall Meeting (May), UMAT Alumni Dinner (August), Total Energy End-of-Year Dinner, and Absa Curtains Down Party Year-End.
