With the outbreak of coronavirus and the lockdown in place, the family of Nana Osei Kuffour was unable to mourn him the way they would have loved to.
Unlike the usual coming together for an intimate family gathering, they were forced to mourn their beloved over the internet from their various homes.
It was double mourning for musician Obour and his family on Friday, April 3, 2020 - the loss of Nana Osei Kuffour and the loss of the opportunity to hold a befitting one-week observation in his memory.
Regardless of the circumstances, the family was united over video conferencing App, Zoom, to celebrate the life of their beloved.
Over 60 family members of the former president of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), joined the video conference to pay their respects to the deceased.
Nana Osei Kuffour died at Ridge Hospital after testing positive for coronavirus.
However, the family had some reservations about the circumstances surrounding his death.
According to Obour, born Bice Osei Kuffour, his father was responding to treatment hence it was a shock to hear of his demise a few hours later.
This, he explains, is the reason why the family wants an autopsy done.
