The Minister for Roads and Highways, Kwame Agbodza, has indicated that feasibility studies, drawings, and designs for the Ho bypass road network are almost complete.
He added that procurement and construction works would begin soon on the road which stretches from Sokode Etoe, through UHAS, and Mirage to Titrinu.

Mr. Agbodza disclosed this when he visited the Volta Region to assess the state of some selected road networks with a team of engineers from the Ministry of Roads and Highways and the Ghana Highway Authority.
Among these roads were the Ho-Aflao Road which he said will be reconstructed under the Big Push Agenda of President John Mahama and the Weta – Afiadenyigba - Havedzi Road which will be funded with money allocated to the Roads Ministry in 2025 budget.

The Ho-Aflao road has deteriorated over the years leading to drivers diverting traffic through Mafi-Kumase and Sogakofe for safer and convenient journeys.
It is the hope of the drivers that the road networks, especially the Ho-Aflao stretch will be reconstructed as promised by the National Democratic Congress government, led by John Dramani Mahama to ease their burdens.
