The Ghana Revenue Authority’s Custom Division of the Ho Collection Center, has held a pull-out ceremony for the outgoing Sector Commander, Asst. Commissioner Samuel K. Foli, at the forecourt of the GRA Volta Regional Head Office.
The colorful ceremony had a lot of dignitaries from all sectors including the service heads of the security services in the region and the Volta Regional Minister, Dr. Archibald Yaw Letsa, attending.

In his speech, Mr. Foli while thanking the almighty God and people he met through the ranks, also appealed to the government to lift the ban on the importation of rice through the Eastern frontiers.
"I wish to take this opportunity to appeal to the Honorable Regional Minister and the Commissioner of Customs to have a second look at the ban on the importation of rice through the Eastern frontiers, since the ban on the Western frontiers has been partially lifted. I suggest same be done for Ho and Aflao collection points to reduce the smuggling of the commodity,” Mr. Foli said.
Mr. Samuel Komla Foli also advised the officers to work diligently so they could be entrusted with greater responsibilities.

In a speech read by the Commandant of the GRA Academy, Junior Appiah-Warden, on behalf of the Commissioner of Customs, he said “Mr. Foli has been of great value to GRA custom division and the nation as a whole. He worked through thick and thin for 37 donkey years; tirelessly inculcating professionalism in service.”
The Volta Regional Minister, Dr. Archibald Yaw Letsa, also appreciated the services of the outgoing Sector Commander in the Regional Security Council.
The incoming Sector Commander for the Ho Collection Point, Mrs. Felicia Dadeboe Azumah, in her speech also said she prays the support and cooperation given to her predecessor will be extended to her.
She urged the officers to work as a team and asked each one to play their role as team players so as to exceed the target set by her predecessor.

Mr. Samuel K. Foli found his way to the then Custom Exercise and Preventive Service (CEPS) in 1985.
After his primary course in Customs procedures in Accra, he went to Kamina Barracks in Tamale for basic military training since the CEPS was to take over from the then Border Guards.
Mr. Foli has traveled across the length and breadth of the country including Ho, Elubo, Kumasi, Sunyani, Wa Collection Sectors in service to the GRA and the country.
He was posted back to Ho in May 2020 to take charge of the Ho Collection Sector after the former Sector Commander, Mr. Senyo Tawiah Ameyibor.

He is also a product of Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ), University of Cape Coast (UCC), and the University of Ghana (UG).
