The New Patriotic Party (NPP) poised to increase its electoral fortunes in the Ho West Constituency of the Volta Region has inaugurated a campaign committee.
The 29-member committee would be responsible for the planning and coordination of campaign activities of the party ahead of the December polls.

The Volta Regional NPP Chairman, Makafui Woanyah, who inaugurated the committee implored the members to adopt a scientific approach in their campaign activities.
He, therefore, advised them to map out strategies to help win electorates over to the elephant fraternity, to consolidate the gains of the NPP in the region.
He further called on them to continuing propagating the achievements of the Akufo-Addo-led-government with the electorates at the grassroots level.
”We don't need to engage in rallies and unnecessary meetings. Let us extend the good message of the NPP to the locals”, he said.

The Ho West NPP Parliamentary Candidate, David Togbe Nfodjo, who expressed optimism of emerging triumphant over the incumbent National Democratic Congres (NDC) Member of Parliament, Emmanuel Bedzra, in the 8th general elections.
He called for concerted efforts from all members during the campaigns ”to secure every single vote in the constituency.
”There are some polling stations I know I will definitely win, but the biggest threat is that some electorates indicated they will vote for me but won't vote for President Akufo-Addo”, he said.
He, therefore, urged members of the NPP to seriously campaign against this and lay before voters the consequences of voting ’skirt and blouse’.
”Voting for me without Nana is useless because if you vote for me and I win and you vote for Nana and he wins as well, that indicates we have contributed to the victory of the NPP and will be rewarded accordingly”, he stressed.
