Holy Child College of Education has launched its annual Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) project.
The 2022 event is themed, “Creating A Sexual Harassment-Free Environment In Our College Community”.
The 16-day GESI Challenge 2022 is a programme to sustain and promote issues of Gender Equality and Social IncIusion in the college community.
In an address, Safe Space Focal Person for the College, Michael Franklin Mensah explained to members of the College Community what they need to know specifically in the area of sexual harassment and how to report it for the necessary action to be taken.
Launching this year's programme, Principal of the College, Dr. Francis Hull Adams explained that issues of sexual harassment are not only against women but also against men.
Dr. Adams reminded the College Community that the College has a zero-tolerance policy in relation to sexual abuse and sexual harassment.
He therefore called on members of the College Community to be conscious of issues of sexual harassment.
