Dr. Felix Anyah, Executive Chairman of the Holy Trinity Spa and Medical Centre, was last Saturday awarded the Best Spa and Health Services Provider for 2014 at a Made-in-Ghana awards programme held at the Banquet Hall of the State House in Accra.
He was among 31 recipients of awards of excellence in various categories which came with plaques and citations.
The annual programme is organized by the Entrepreneurs Foundation of Ghana under the auspices of the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning under the theme, ‘Nationalism: The Key to Social and Economic Development.”
The programme was graced by many personalities, some of them business executives and diplomats in the country.
The event was instituted to encourage local production of goods and services – the latter of which Dr. Anyah stood apart from the pack, his Spa and Medical Centre having continued to appeal to more and more patrons.
Dr. Felix Anyah established the Holy Trinity Spa and Farm and Medical Centre over a decade ago with five members of staff. Today it can boast of over a 100 employees who cater for the health needs of both Ghanaians and other nationals.
The facilities – Health Centre, the Spa, Resort and Golf Course – are located in Accra and Sogakope in the Volta Region.
Speaking to the Daily Guide shortly after receiving the award, the Executive Chairman full of joy, said the latest award brings to 24 such honours since the inception of his Medical Centre.
He explained that the centre employs an integrated healthcare service which is based on a three-pronged approach of orthodox, complementary and alternative methods.
Dr Anyah further explained that staff development initiatives had been his greatest preoccupation to help him achieve the enviable service his facilities give to clients to ensure sound state of wellness.
Speaking on the criteria for the award, Sam Ato Gaisie, founder of Entrepreneurs Foundation of Ghana, said it is based on product, service quality, delivery, competitiveness and innovation.
He was happy that the awards would provide the ultimate platform for raising Made-in-Ghana product awareness and loyalty.
