The Member of Parliament for Dome-Kwabenya Constituency, Hon. Elikplim Akurugu, on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, distributed mathematical sets to Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates within the municipality to support their preparations for the ongoing national examination.
The presentation ceremony took place in the morning. at the KAMA Cluster of Schools, which formed part of the MP’s broader commitment to education and youth empowerment across the constituency.
During the event, Hon. Akurugu personally handed over the mathematical sets to the candidates from the KAMA Cluster, who were present in their numbers.
Candidates from other public basic schools, whose heads or representatives had been contacted by the Municipal Director of Education, also received their consignments.
Addressing the students, Hon. Elikplim Akurugu encouraged them to remain confident, focused, and determined as they prepare for their exams.
She assured them of her continued support and emphasized that education remains a key pillar in the development of the constituency and the nation at large.
The distribution exercise was warmly received by school authorities and students, many of whom expressed appreciation for the MP’s timely intervention, describing it as both thoughtful and impactful.
The event concluded with words of encouragement from the MP and a renewed sense of motivation among the BECE candidates.
