Most guys would like to think that they’re an Alpha male regardless of reality, but there are several other types that could actually be better at describing the type of man you are.
Check out the descriptions below and tell us in the comments if you are a Beta, Gamma, Delta, Omega or Alpha male.
5. Beta Male
You are an intelligent person who fidgets, shakes your leg or bites your nails a lot. You don't hold eye contact for long, but are a good listener. Women find you charming at first but it tends to wear off quickly and they end up taking you for granted. Relationships never go quite the way you'd like. Compared to other guys you certainly treat women well and dote on them, so you'd call yourself a nice guy. You rarely take risks, and if you do you will thoroughly think them through beforehand. You're quick to apologize and avoid confrontation.
4. Gamma Male
You're not someone that is interested in following the rules. Women find you interesting because you don't have the typical desire to climb the corporate ladder or impress others, so basically you're a different breed. You know exactly who you are and are confident in yourself. You don't feel like you have anything to prove. Relationships can be difficult because you have very specific traits that you like to see in others, so when you do find those people you relate to, you become very close to them. You love nature and contemplation. Solitude is highly valuable to you.
3. Omega Male
You value your accomplishments because you put a lot of work into them. For you, succeeding is best done on your own. You tire of people quickly and your jokes go over other people's heads. You consider yourself an observer, and prefer to draw conclusions about the process than to actually participate. You've used the phrase, "Nice guys finish last" because for you it's true. Your experiences with women have made you bitter towards them and you're sick of the games. You don't feel people can challenge you, so you don't bother with them. You're misunderstood.
2. Delta Male
You're popular with others, attractive, easy-going and fun. Your main goal in life is to have a good time and maintain your relationships. You've never had dreams of being rich and famous but you are a trendy guy, with the newest cell phone, designer clothing and a nice car. Some call you a people-pleaser or a conformist, but those people are usually just jealous. You enjoy receiving compliments because it means you're doing something right. You're not competitive and don't see the point in trying too hard with anything. Life is meant for living, not working.
1. Alpha Male
You're fearless and confident. You know what you're doing. People think it's all effortless but you know the years of work it took to get to where you are. You like to think of yourself as a man who has chipped away the pieces he doesn't need to become the best he can be. You're unique. You're a natural leader and protector. You don't mind stepping out of your comfort zone. In fact, you might not even have a comfort zone. You're a risk taker, you're intelligent, you've got it together. You've never really had trouble with women and often give other guys advice.
