Consumers are clamoring for one of Huawei’s hottest smartphones, the Huawei P9.
The popular global mobile device provider, Huawei Technologies Ghana SA, recently unveiled the P9 smartphone at a sales activation at the Accra Mall. Since the launch of the highly anticipated device tremendous demand has hit the Ghanaian market.
Huawei Technologies Ghana has sold over 1000 pieces of the P9, a surprising accomplishment for a flagship device, accomplished just within its first month of sales in Ghana.
Commenting on the Huawei P9’s performance, Robin Sun, the Country Manager for Device Business was not surprised at the boost in demand; highlighting the P9’s exceptional qualities which give consumers the best smartphone experience.
“We are very excited about the great impact Huawei P9 has made on the Ghanaian market, but we are not surprised because it is endowed with unique specs like its groundbreaking photography, high definition display and optimum security features,” Robin said. “With the P9 consumers are not only buying a smartphone, but also the best camera manufactured by Leica, a brand with over 100 years of experience in manufacturing the best performing cameras in the world,” Robin added.
The Retail and Marketing Manager at Huawei Technologies Ghana SA, Mrs. Jim Sufaiya Ibrahim-Tanko, reiterated Huawei’s commitment to producing premium smartphone and devices into the Ghanaian market and encouraged consumers to buy the Huawei P9.
“Huawei always wants to give the best to consumers, the best in smartphones and devices, the Huawei P9 gives you the best photography experience with its dual-lensed cameras manufactured by Leica,” Jim said. “No one should be left out of the P9 experience because you stand to miss more than what you can imagine a smartphone device can give you,” she added.
The Huawei P9 revolutionizes smartphone photography that opens new possibilities for users. It comes in four colours: rose gold, prestige gold, titanium grey and mystic silver.
Huawei’s products and services are available in more than 170 countries and are used by a third of the world’s population, ranking third in the world in mobile phone shipments. Huawei is also giving buyers of the P9, the opportunity to travel to France on a fully-paid trip to watch the EURO, 2016 finals.
