The prevailing economic situation in the country has compelled an ardent listener of Joy FM to stick to his tattered under wears.
According to Kofi, who called into the Super Morning Show, on Thursday, the high cost of living has affected him severely.
He said the situation is so dire, to the extent that he can no longer afford to replace his under wears due to the cost implications.
"My boxer shorts and singlets are all in tatters, I can't even replace them," he said.
In the past few weeks, citizens have been lamenting over what they say is a high cost of living in the country. The incessant cries were triggered by the recent hikes in fuel prices, which they say has had an effect on the prices of goods and services.
They also bemoan that despite the ongoing hardships resulting from the spike in the prices of goods and services, income levels remain the same.Â
"You earn GH₵800 a month. Out of this, you'll have to pay your bills i.e light and water bills, and also take care of your family if you have one. How can you take care of all of these with this amount of money?," Kofi asked.
