The National Youth Organiser of the National Democratic Congress, Ludwig Hlodze has told myjoyonline.com that he has decided to take a neutral stance ahead of the party’s delegates congress to elect a flagbearer. Mr. Ludwig Hlodze who works in the Office of the President said as a party official he would be required to work with anyone who emerges victorious from the congress and would therefore not stick his neck out for of the two candidates. “I support the NDC and the NDC will be the winner [on Saturday],” Mr Hlodze said, explaining that he has not stated anywhere that he belonged to either camp. He added that the preparations made so far to ensure that no one is aggrieved after the elections will provide the needed tool to bring all the factions together ahead of the 2012 General Election. He indicated that the party will come out of the elections more united than is being anticipated and that all arrangements are being made to ensure the event passes without any glitches. He said party officials are doing every thing by the book to make the delegates comfortable during their stay in the Brong Ahafo capital. Touching on the possibility that the youth who will come to the venue will be aggrieved and cause havoc should their candidate lose, Mr. Hlodze stated that it is wrong for the youth to be tagged with chaos all the time, adding his outfit has however put measure in place to allow the youth to play their part in the successful completion of the elections. He also urged the media to ensure that the information put out are free from sensationalism, stressing that the media must play its role in the growth of the democratic process in the country.
